TBT: Mount Sinai, August, 1977
With the Sinai in the news lately, I felt this was a good moment to post this photo, from long ago and far away...
(Note: There is some debate among archeologists and Bible scholars as to whether the mountain identified as Mount Sinai really is the one that was a focal point in the Torah. I'm not getting into that, just using the name for the sake of identifying the photo.)
