First street photos with Leica Monochrom M...at ISO 6400!
Hey there!
It's been a while since I've posted anything here, but that's about to change. Big time. You see, Leica has just loaned me what may be the holy grail of street photography, the Leica Monochrom M. No, I can't afford it. And most street photographers probably can't either.
But thanks to my position at the Adorama Learning Center, I got an evaluation unit (along with a 28mm f/2.8 Leica Elmarit lens) to play with for a couple of precious weeks. Detail enlarged to 100%. The noise kinda looks like pushed Tri-X, doesn't it? Certainly not objectionable to my eyes.
Here are a couple more shots. A lot more coming soon!
I'll be shooting more with this intriguing camera as part of an upcoming review for the Adorama Learning Center, but I couldn't resist sharing these!
