Wedding Wednesday #2: Seth & Amira

Every Wednesday I'll be posting photos from recent weddings. After opening with a photo very unlike the kind of work I like to do at Orthodox Jewish weddings, this is example of the kind of shots I love to capture.

My primary goal when photographing an Orthodox wedding reception is to capture the physical and spiritual energy of the dancing, which I believe is one of the purest expressions of joy in Judaism. This shot, taken earlier this year, has one interesting little facet: The tall skinny guy just to the left of the leg is David, the brother of the bride.. He just got engaged!
