Last night I photographed the Highland Park Conservative Temple's annual night of Chinese food (of course!), music and comedy, a project that was started by my good friend Jay Culang. As always, the Avi Maza Orchestra provided the music, and for the first time, comedian Joel Chasnoff had people ROTFL'ing.
But the line of the night went to Highland Park mayor Gayle Brill Mittler, who was invited to read the winning raffle ticket. She started: "T-I-C..."
I'll have to use that line some time...
