About me

For over 35 years, I wrote about photography for some of the most well-known photo magazines and blogs on the planet, including Popular Photography (where I was the Managing Editor), Modern Photography (where I was the Associate Editor), the Adorama Learning Center, Shutterbug, Photo District News, and B&H (where I launched their original web site). I have been a freelance photographer, based in New Jersey, since 2012.

About This Blog and Patreon

This is my blog, which I've repurposed as my way of communicating daily with my Patreon supporters. Access to this blog is a special benefit of sponsorship, and is available to sponsors at all levels!

This is where you can see my photo of the day (there will be at least five a week) and vote on it. The photo that gets the most favorable votes will be the Street Photo Of The Month, which will go out to subscribers as a postcard or limited edition 8x10" or 11x14" print, depending on your level of sponsorship. Remember, you can always upgrade to a higher sponsorship level and reap greater benefits!
